Burning Tree Country Club is an 18-hole private club located in Greenwich, CT. The golf course has recently undergone a multi-million golf course renovation including the construction of USGA specified bentgrass greens, Better Billy Bunker installation, rebuilding of tees and the installation of a complex drainage system. From leading day to day operations to attending greens committee meetings, my time at Burning Tree has exposed me to all aspects of the superintendent role and has prepared me to take the next step in my career.

  • Part of the leadership team in charge of $2.5 million course renovation 

  • Collaborative relationship with Golf Pro, General Manager and other employees in leadership roles resulting in a synergistic work environment

  • Attend monthly Greens Committee meetings to ensure member expectations are not only met, but exceeded

  • Direct and motivate multicultural workforce cultivating a crew that takes individual ownership of their responsibilities  

  • Initiated and spearhead Audubon International environmental certification
